Me and the wife are thinking of travelling to Mexico mid-May next year and are looking at these 2 hotels, has anyone been to either of these hotels? Occidental Grand Xcaret Now Sapphire Rivera Cancun Not sure which one to choose The Xcaret is next to the park but not so good for the beach
I've not been to either, but have been to Now Jade the sister resort of Now Sapphire which was very nice. Of the two I'd choose Now Sapphire. It's a much newer hotel than the Occidental, and being next to Xcaret isnt that much of a plus since you'd probably only spend a day there, whereas you might want to spend every day on the beach. Xcaret is not too far from the Now Sapphire for a day trip in any case
