Hello there everyone... My friends and I (aged from 20-22) are planning a last minute trip to cancun from Jan 7-11... We understand it's not spring break time and it won't be as "popping" as it would be if it were... but we're still expecting to have some fun!

So, the question is, which AI hotel should we stay at to expect the most party people at this time of year.

What do you guys think of The oasis cancun/grand oasis cancun..it seems to be the party place durring spring break but has horrible reviews all over the internet.. we dont expect or even care for luxury accomodations, but just want to be in a hotel with fellow partiers.

    Thanks in advance!

I'll move this to the Spring Break Forum, although you're not going during spring break the age group there will be more familiar with whats hot and not than us older ones.

Welcome to the Boards...Oasis Cancun is hands down the best party hotel in my opinion. And for a second would not look any further for a party destination. As far as the negative reviews the majority of the issues people cry about can be avoided day one. Its also there approach on bringing these problems and gripes to the right peoples attention. I know you must wait until January to go, but if you can hold off until March, April, June, or July to go, you will be hooked to go back for more. I too read negative reviews my first trip in 2003 but only wanted to party so I did not care about what I read. 12 trips later to the same hotel destination, I am returning next year for more. Give it a try I'm sure others are curious how "poppin" January is as well.
