So we're looking to go to Oasis Sens over Memorial Day week/weekend with a number of other TTR exiles...just wondering where people are finding the best place to book through? For TTR we know the routine and best ways to book, just not sure on Oasis. Thanks!
We did ours through Expedia (although Orbits was pretty much same price) Only did Expedia because we could pick our seats on the plane
So looking through Alpharooms and they have a large number of room options listed...anyone know which of these would be their middle tier (with ocean view)?
Anyone ever use BookVIP for Oasis Sens? Some friends of ours just booked 5 nights for $599/couple but they do have to sit through the sales pitch. Not sure how bad theirs is to the one at TTR?
Read the fine print with bookvip. They are brutal on there presentation. Some friends of our did it and regretted it. They make sure you have a Credit Card to start with, you have to give them the CC# and then you sit through there presentation. You CAN'T leave, if you do, they bill you for the full price of the room! Our friends had to sit through a 6 hour presentation and finally put there foot down and said enough was enough. When they got home after there trip they found that they were billed an extra amount. Be very careful with that group. Not saying that is the norm, but I know this happened to our friends because we had to listen to them bitch for weeks about it. Stick with reputable 3rd parties and read reviews. Alpharooms has too many room choices. Oasis Sens ONLY has three room choices. Garden view, Ocean view & Sian Kaan. If you book through them chose the least expensive of the room choices you are interested in. The more expensive rooms are the exact same as the least expensive in the same category
We booked through Hotels.com and was scheduled to stay 2-2 thru 2-8. Upon our arrival we were told they had no rooms even after I called and confirmed two days prior. Please beware of the Oasis chain, this is the second time it has happened to us. Hope your stay is better.
Sorry to hear that happened to you. There were some people dealing with having to be moved due to "over booking" when we were checking in for our January trip. Those that we being moved looked to have booked through some unknown 3rd parties. The fact you booked with Hotels.com and had that issue is a bit disconcerting. I hope everyone else has better luck. Unfortunately you didn't get the option to experience Oasis Sens. It's a nice resort. Sara69 might have been able to assist you if you had made mention to her of the issue when on the Boobs Cruise. I believe she is the entertainment director for Oasis Sens now.
