I haven't found anything here on reputable mechanics or auto repair shops.
If anyone knows a good one so I don't have to start over again. It took me 4 years to find a place here where I don't think they've rip me off too bad.

    HAHAHA!

I'm blessed with a husband who is so cheap and who thinks he understands cars, and so he is always happy to spend 3 days fixing something that would take a decent mechanic 3 hours. But in the end the car gets fixed and no one rips us off. I just look at it like his hobby, he likes the process, he grooves on the grease, and as long as the car goes (fast) I don't care.

I've seen a couple of old Gremlins here, held together with duct tape...

This coming Sunday is Duck Tape Across America Day. That according to our duck (not duct) tape addicted friends at:
    http://www.ducktapeclub.com/

And according to Wikipedia duct tape maintains it's adhesion up to 100 mph, and so is obviously overkill for any Gremlin which had a top speed of what, like 40 mph on a good day with a tailwind going down a hill???

Plz don't compare that Gremlin piece of crap with the jewel of American engineering. I can easily do 45 m/h on a 6 degree slope and decent weather and only have to add water and oil 2x every 10 miles (with new duct tape around the oil pan and the radiator). :)
