Just want to say, fantastic forum, looks like everyone is friendly with each other and can't wait to meet some of you in May!
My question is: Where do you keep items while in the pool? How do you secure them? Where do you keep money for tips? The Ms.'s suit doesn't have enough material for pockets. :clappyinghappy:
How do you keep tip money dry?

We keep a pool bag under the chair and not had any issues. If you can't trust people you are half naked with in a pool, who can you trust? One day when we didnt have chairs, we asked if we could keep our bag under another couples chair whomwe had not met and ended up being bffs for the week? The bartenders gladly accept wet money as tips so I keep a few bucks in my pocket. Best advice...Being your own thermal cups.

Get some $20 peso bills for tips...makes each tip about $1.65 US...but the peso bills are made from some magical material that resists water...

We picked up a credit card sized waterproof plastic container at our local sporting goods store. has a flip top with a gasket to keep water out and a clip to attatch to swimsuits. We were able to get our room keys and cash in it and all stayed dry. You can get them on Amazon also

We just give our tip when we first get there. For $20.00 you will have your own drink server for the week..And I usually throw them another 20 when we leave for the great service.

I keep everything in the side pocket of my board shorts. Room card, money for tips.. Yes, everything gets soaking wet, but after a few drinks and shots... I really dont give a rats ass!! The room key works wet, and the money will dry at some point ... Carry on! Ron :wink3:

If you don't have a pool chair (which is where you would keep such things), then look around for someone who does have a chair and kindly ask them if you can throw your crap under their chair. Otherwise, we just put our stuff under the palm tree next to the sexy pool bar. We weren't too worried about having to secure anything as we don't bring down anything we're not willing to lose (we tend to get a bit too crazy).

We always had a couple of loungers for a group to serve as home base.
