    After hurricane Wilma rocked Cancun a year and a half ago, la boom never re opened after that! The land is for sale and word has it that it will likely turn into condos! :cry:

    It was one of the first big, techno nightclubs. It paved the way for all of the ones that are so big right now. :lotsofmichaelf:

    I never went to this place.. Lots of good things about it though.. Lots of pics and trip reports floating around with something crazy to say about this place....


    I do miss Fat Tuesdays though...

    Meh Fat Tuesday was nothing compared to LA BOOM>..Loved that place!!

    La Boom was always one of my favorites too.

    I have lots of wonderful memories of that place.

    Me too....plus it was right down the street from BBG so within stumbling distance is always good :)
