Where did La Boom go?

Someone said it was gone? :cry:

What happened to it?

 

After hurricane Wilma rocked Cancun a year and a half ago, la boom never re opened after that! The land is for sale and word has it that it will likely turn into condos! :cry:

 

That is a crying shame. A real piece of cancun history lost. :cry:

hell yeah by far!

i certainly had my best nights in there

 

It was one of the first big, techno nightclubs. It paved the way for all of the ones that are so big right now. :lotsofmichaelf:

 

I never went to this place.. Lots of good things about it though.. Lots of pics and trip reports floating around with something crazy to say about this place....


I do miss Fat Tuesdays though...

 

Meh Fat Tuesday was nothing compared to LA BOOM>..Loved that place!!

 

La Boom was always one of my favorites too.

I have lots of wonderful memories of that place.

 

Me too....plus it was right down the street from BBG so within stumbling distance is always good
