I have this funky hat that came from Mexico City as a gift. It is nasty with rust stains from the snaps and I need a new one. Having no luck in finding such a hat and have looked extensively. Closest thing was a guy at church had one he got on Isla Muj and he does not remember where. It was white and had an "Isla" touristy emblem. CAN ANYONE HELP WITH WHERE I MIGHT FIND THEM FOR SALE? I have been everywhere, even stores in the barrios, without even getting close to finding one or anything remotely similar. It sort of looks like this. It was probably $50-$100 Mxn 6 years or so ago. Color - Khaki Material - Kind of a canvas, probably cotton. Hard to say. No tags and I am a guy. Chin strap - Yes but all I do is move it to the back at the top Snaps - Yes. Rusty and I cannot clean them, in spite of trying many cleaners, like vinegar, lime juice, and home remedies. Outside band - Not on mine. Look and feel - Cheap, soft, who knows. Thanks gang,

We have one - no chin strap and it is dark blue. Got it in the US for some reason and have never used it. I'll look for it and post a picture and you can have it if you want.
