I never found it, but since friends started bring it down 12 ounces at a time, I heard 100 Percent Natural, at least a time ago, sold it for 200 pesos per kilo. Haven't check that out myself yet, but I love the stuff! It is so versatile!

Try Costco near the cereal isle. I know they sell it in the US stores, so who knows you may get lucky there.

Zina - Wow, $200/kg. Now that's about enough. I may have breakfast at 100% Natural tomorrow and will check it out.

Gabesz - We're not in Kansas anymore, Dorothy. Not at Costco Cancun, but thanks.

Poco- Will try that little place but not sure they are still open. Places are dropping like flies at Plaza Peninsula. Even Ruben's is now closed.

What reminded me of this is that yesyerday,my daughter put a pix (on Facebook) of the bowl she made, with the comment that after 3 years of making it for her b/f, he finally admitted that he hated it. My poor baby.

Let me know if you find it, but I have another 12 ounces coming and just received three pounds on the mule train!

    QUINOA IS AT THE GREENERY.

My friend Lilia told me she got some for her mom.

Thanks also to Poco who suggesting it too but I never got by there. But I will now.

Zina, there you go. No more smuggling for you or your friends. JaJa.

By the way, I have heard so many different pronunciations for Quinoa.

The most correct, as pointed out by my gourmet daughter, seems to be:

"KEEN-wah". The other accepted one is "key-NO-wah"/

Check it out, audio style: Merriam-Webster Pronunciation
