just got back, had reservered ocean club room....was confident of having no problems being it was done in sept. and top room....Wendy informed us no room maybe tomorrow or next day.....had to go to great with kids....got to adult pool and was full of people that got bumped also....still made a good time of it ....always got back to see the AMATURE SHOW from the adult pool....4 to 6 in the afternoon is crazy...we all did get a voucher for next year thou...make sure you get yours....golden sounds full till may or june
4-6 in the afterrnoon at the Golden is crazy? Wow, we sure hope so. Please elaborate. Leaving on the first - just a week and few hours to go. Besides our own personal fun and others, I have never saw the resort do anything crazy at all. Maybe things have changed for the better.
that sucks we have oceanfront club room booked also... did they upgrade you to a comparable room?????? and what was the voucher for?:blueshock:

We're not going till May, but plan on a club oceanfront......If they bump us I would probably lose my mind.....
We just got back on the 20th - we booked the Oceanview Club room through Sunwing and got bumped the first night - still at the Golden but to a regular room with no jacuzzi, fridge, etc. They moved us the next day after going to the front desk 3 times. Pain in the a** but I had a drink in hand so it was all good. Most people we talked to were bumped though at least for one night. Go with an open mind and you will have a great time - Jose at the Tkibar was amazing. We met so many great people and had such an awesome time.
