When was the last time you did something for the first time?

Heard a country song on the drive into work today that had me thinking about how short life is. For us it seems we do more "firsts" when we are on vacation but then they become part of us afterward, maybe too deep of thinking as to why that is and why we can't all just be ourselves all the time? But, that said, hoping to start a fun thread here and get some "firsts" from everyone (or even some I/We are going to do this "next" time)? Seems like TTR is a good place for firsts!

 

Darius Rucker... First time at TTR. Hopefully it's something we'll want to do again!

 

We are making our first trip to TTR as well!! Hopefully a tradition we shall begin!

 

So you guys don't have any other "first times" besides this trip coming up?

 

always looking for first times, same times and repeat times.

 

In 10 days, it will be the first time I leave the country alone, the first time I take the plane alone, first time I go to an hotel alone, first time I go on vacation alone, first time I will have to force myself to go talk to people alobe, first time I go to TTR and, who knows, maybe I will get other ''first time'' there.

Might be boring but it's a lot of first time in a week.

 

February was our first vacation no kids to Temptations. First time I walked out in public with nothing but bikini bottoms.

 

Ok.... So here is one of mine: the last and first time my swim shorts went up in flames. I had a favorite pair of beach shorts, kinda long (just above the knees). Probably owned them for about 8 years (yeah I stick with things that work). That's a lot of chlorine pools, oceans and lakes. They were pretty thin. We were camping and I knelt down to fix the campfire and "Flash"....shorts were literally gone! Poof! No burns didn't even singe the short and curlies.....just spontaneous combustion. All that was left was the drawstring.

 

We say: go all-in for all the first times! Jump in head first! They're almost all the best times you'll ever experience and you'll most likely be looking for that thrill you had on that specific occasion.

So many awesome / amazing firsts at TTR.

Jen AND I were going to have t-shirts made up for both of us saying 'WE did a Playboy Playmate at TTR'

But then after a few more trips we were going to have to cross out the 'a' and write in a '2' Good times.
