Hey everyone, new guy here. Found a link to this site on Trip Advisor while searching for a place to take my GF for a vacation. Well, I think we found our place. Temptation sounds great! Now we just have to decide on WHEN to go. We would like to go soon, possibly November. September and October are out for work reasons, so November is as soon as we can go. We are wondering if this is a good time? I guess the major factors we were thinking of are weather and the age and number of the guests. I think the second one may need a little explaining. I am thinking that different times of year have different crowds (like summer time, spring/winter break). Is this correct? I think my GF (who is mid 20's) dosen't want everyone there to be 2x her age. I'm (mid 30's) more worried that I'll be stuck with a bunch of frat boys! Also, November is a lot cheaper, does that mean that it will be dead? We would rather it be packed then dead. Any other things to consider? When ever we go I'm sure we are going to have a blast but any help or input would be great!
Regardless of when you go you will see people from 21 - 75+! The majority of people are not in their 20s but rather average age I would say is 30-45 however if you are active here you will meet people of all age and have fun regardless of their age. We are in our 20s and really age does not matter as really everyone there just wants to party
We're going to book this week for a 2 week trip in November. This will be our 4th trip and since Jan 2012 and 2nd trip in November. November was a blast last year, our best trip of the bunch. Temp is a funny place, I wouldn't worry about "average age" or anything like that. This bring me to the good and the bad news..... The good news is you'll have the best vacation you've ever had 100% guaranteed. The bad news is you better start saving for your next trip because it's definitely addictive! We'll probably be there Nov 8th-22nd, hope to see you there
Look into the Chaos Crew thread. I think December is good, too. We can't ever make it because of work, but you might.
There are so many repeat people at this resort. We usually meet same group at same times each year. so it really does not matter too much when you go for your first trip. you are guaranteed to have a blast and meet new friends and will probably want to meet up with next year as well. there are always a big mix of ages and sizes you will meet alot of fun cool people anyway. Make Sure you book steve's Boobs Cruise from this site. its the best time you will ever have....
There is no bad time. We however went last November/December just for four days and there was 200 french men from Quebec there. It was the first time we ever felt like outsiders at the resort. Kinda weird, but we still had a great time. most people will not be in their 20"s but most will be partying like they are. The pool is much cooler in November/ december. April/May is great and September is awsome but hot and very humid. November/December/ and january there will be alot of canadians there and a great party.
TTR is extremely non-judgmental, and may not be the place for you if your GF does not want to be with anyone 2X her age. Please read thru some more of the forum before deciding to book.

All I can tell you is that age just doesn't matter at Temptation. You'll just have to go and see for yourself...but there's a reason all of us go back year after year. I live in a college town...we all call the bars where the students go "Amateur Hour"...because they don't know how to act when they drink.
Thanks so much for the reply! Everyone here seems awsome, and you've convinced me. After reading all the replies and some more searching on this forum, I wanted to go as soon as possible. For us that is Nov 10th - 17th... We are all booked!!! Please look for some more posts from me, but I'm going to change the "handle" to something a little more inclusive like "Aaron&Heather" or something.
