Since I have a really conservative job, I thought I'd become a master of avoiding the question of where I'm staying in Cancun. My usual strategy goes like this: Them: Where are you going? Me: Cancun Them: Where in Cancun? Me: Well, you know how Cancun is shaped like a 7? Well, the nicer beaches are along the short side...Look! A squirrel! But, the other day I got tripped up! Coworker: So, where do you stay in Cancun? Me: Well, you know.... Coworker: Yeah, I know. What resort? Me: Uh...Hard Rock...? Coworker: No way! I was just there for a wedding! I can't wait to see pictures! Oh, shit. So, how do I get out of this one, friends?????
very easy go/to Trip advisor........ go to photos from guests... download a few of your new imaginary friends.... take a few pics of youself in front of tress/plants ,, done

lol I just tell people.. I say it's an adult only resort because you know we dont have kids so we dont want to vacation with them.. and I leave it at that.. Now when we went to Hedo we also stayed at Couples Negril so we took enough pictures there to make it look like we spent our whole vacation there.. I changed swimsuits 2 times a day haha..
We did a split trip between Hard Rock and TTR a couple years ago. I have a bunch of pics of just the resort. let me know if you need some. lol P.S. I will never stay at Hard Rock again. Because you know what isn't fun? Trying to have a cocktail at 1am at the bar and there is a 3 year old sitting on the barstool next to you. Yeah, that happened there a couple times. Who knows where the parents were. I'll stick with my adults-only resorts!
Wait until the end of the trip and if the coworker asks again just say you didn't remember your camera. In my experience, most people are so full of themselves that they either will never follow up or you can easily get them talking about their own trip memories and they forget to ask anything about yours.
Our problem is not with the co-workers but our kids and especially with both out parents as they all love to travel. Our first trip to TTR, we stay in GR Solaris for a couple of nights to take ample photos and on the second trip went to downtown. Now, since we go on so many vacations, no ones asks us! LOL
