Sadly you don't. But here is a very simple breakdown: Garden view - could be anywhere, some are good, some are not. Ocean view - will have an ocean view, could be on either side of the resort (as some rooms around the quiet pool are considered ocean). Jacuzzi - these are all in the same place around the quiet pool ground floor. Ocean suites - beachfront. Nice rooms, but only 2 or 3 of the 12 have a patio/balcony(which kind of kills it for me). Bash tower - in the tower, somewhere in the middle of the U shape. Lush tower - in the tower, in the center of the U shape with a Jacuzzi. Tower suites - in the tower, at the ends of the U shape. large wrap-around balconies. Penthouse - in the tower, $$$. IMO if you are trying to stay budget friendly, then book a garden. But know you might not like the room (if that's important to you). The smartest way, costing just a bit more, would be to book the Ocean or Jacuzzi types. Then you know what you are getting, and there is less of a gamble. But if you are finding good deals and the prices are comparable, the step-up would be to move to the tower. If it was only a few dollars between Bash and Lush, then go with the Lush. But if money is no big deal, might as well get a suite or penthouse The tower rooms also have included access to the rooftop (other room types are $20 per person per day to go up there).
All in what you want. When we go on trips and cruises our mentality is we’re only doing three things in the room showering sleeping and you can guess the last. Why spend money to just do that. But to each their own. At TTR we prefer the rooms on the quiet side as their is a time where we would like to got bed. Budget and good deals will also dictate.
Based on these dates you might want to include New Year's Eve/Day. I have read it is a blast. Also, watch out for white out blizzard conditions...wait, I meant blackout conditions of the first day curse!
