What's the fridge stocked with?

I've seen some pics and read a few things on here about what they stock the fridge with but I want to know how much beer and Coke Zero is in there. How often do they re-stock? Can you leave a note for housekeeping and ask for more of certain things?

    Thanks!

the standard stocking is 2 cans of XX, a can of coke, a can of coke zero and a 2L bottle of water. Not too much but enough to get you going in the morning before you stumble to the restaurant or pool.

they will stock it up every day but a couple extra bucks if you see the maid might get you a little extra.

Good to know! It would be nice if we could get a couple of extra beers and everything else Coke Zero. Is it fair to say a few extra bucks and a note could get us that? That right there would make it like a mini version of the beverage fridge at home!

Awesome! We don't drink coffee but Coke Zero is critical to beginning the day and handling a hangover. The beer is vital for carrying us through the "getting ready" times.

    Thanks,

And if they don't one morning hide the excess in a bag or something. I tend to let mine build up like a chipmunk with nuts.

Or failing all else a quick 2 minute walk to the store across the street will get the job done!

$5 a day and a note saying what you want works well. As a morning ritual I put the $5 out with a note saying 3 coke zero and temporalily remove any I have in the fridge and I would always come back to what I asked for. I think there was a can of v8 also if I recall correctly.

I speak a little Spanish so we always wrote our notes in Spanish and tipped a few dollars daily. Also, in the note I would always say something like "I hope you're having a good day" or something along those lines. They seemed to love it as we would get phone calls from the maids asking if they could come over and clean our room before they left for the day. We had no problems getting an extra bottle of water or beer daily.

A sincere note and a few bucks goes a long way. We asked for extra cerveza and got it no problem, an ashtray for the balcony - no problem, muy agua - no problem. Tip bigger at the beginning of your stay (we tipped $15 I think on the first day, and a few bucks every other day after that). They work so hard and are paid little in comparison to us in Canada or the USA.
