Whats the deal with Virgin America?

Has anybody tried to booka trip to cancun through them?? On orbitz the price is about half of what any other airline charges but it says "the flight is pending government approval" thats kind of stopping me from booking it. Weird

I have used them to fly from LAX to Seattle a few times...

We are booked with them to fly from LAX to Cancun in about 2 weeks....

Go directly to their website and book it...

MIKEF- Yeah when i looked at virgin online, they said that flight is not guaranteed they are still pending gov approval, same like orbitz. I tried calling virgin but that went nowhere for about an hour. be careful mikef, orbitz operator told me that it could be cancelled at anytime.

also it wasnt pending us approval its pending mexican approval for flight pattern.

 

are there virgins in America???

Hmmm... I am going to contact them. I went online and it would allow me to book a flight for tomorrow.... I wonder if they are currently flying or cancelling every day.... I will let you know what I find out.

 

I just talked to V.A. airlines. They were approved as of January 1st. Flights have been going to Cancun everyday as scheduled. Nothing to worry about.
