Hey All, My wife Brother, and Fiance are heading to Temptation from January 2-9 2011. My wife and I have been 2 times before during the BBG days (2005 and 2007). Our last trip they weren't completely finished "remodeling" to Temptation but we got to see some of the new rooms. Anyways, I was wondering if anything has changed much since then, and if so what? I'm hoping not to be disappointed as we have hyped the place up to my brother and his fiance who are now going, and expecting to relive some of the stories lol Any information would be appreciated! I don`t know what has changed but I can tell you it rocks, I was there in January of this year and will be back in spetember. It is one of the most fun places on the planet!
Okay...so I'll respond...but I probably won't do the resort justice. We went the year of Wilma and even that year was great. We are heading there for our 6th year and there's no other place we would rather be. I think alot of the changes are merely cosmetic...the heart and soul of the resort remains the same. What you loved about the resort the first year you were there is the same reason you'll love love the resort now. We'll be there Dec. 25th til Jan 8th...we'll see you then! Robbie & Diana
Hi, we were there with you guys during the change over form BBG to TTR. WE were there last in April and I would say things are about the same. If anything the crowd was a little more risque in April. Seems some of the posts on here bare that out also. Have fun at NYE.
Would love to see you guys again also. However, we were there in Oct last year and then again in April this year. Can't play all of the time. Hopefully some day our paths will cross at TTR.

We went in 2008 and thought that things had slipped since we were there in 2003. That said, we had a great time and decided to return and went July 17 - 24 2010. First off...the beds are still like sleeping on plywood. But if you ask/tip a maid she will add a couple of thick pads to the bed to help out. We slept great after that. My wife and I both believe the food at the buffet has gotten much better. The way the items were seasoned and also the selection seemed better. And also the quality of the food at the specialty restaurants was better. The overall property was cleaner it seemed. But the staff...overall...seemed like they wanted to be somewhere else. We actually witnessed a bartender at PatyO's get really rude with a couple of people. And we also noticed that the resort shut down PatyO's twice at 1am during the week we were there. Many complained about this and were told that the noise was disturbing guests. BUT...I would not hesitate to return to TTR. The reason to go to TTR isn't one thing but the overall package, and knowing ahead of time you will have FUN and go home knowing you had just been on a great vacation. Some of the better changes include (in no uncertain order)- you can make reservations at the specialty restuarants up to 3 days in advance (no ticket system like they had in 2003); and you can go to the same resturant as often as you want; top shelf liquor is available to all (if you ask for it by name); 1st floor jacuzzi rooms built around the quiet pool (definitely worth it in our opinion); Paty O's bar open until the last person leaves (at least during our recent trips there); specialty restuarant open for lunch w/o reservations; newer nice shoes bar- behind the "sports bar" (although some negatives about the bar... which I won't delve into since this is a positive reply); bigger and cleaner beach than before; more lounge chairs around the sexy pool; all rooms (at least the ones we've stayed in) have flat screen TV's and a mini-fridge stocked with water, soda and beer. Other changes include no more "sexy games" at night except for lingerie-casino nite. All other evenings they have shows in the nice shoes bar. I'm sure others may chime in but this what we can think of off the top of our collective heads- Ken and Joyce (trip #8 in Oct for Halloween)
