My 1st trip was April of 2007 when TTR was BBG. 2nd trip was April of 2008 & 3rd April of 2009. Each trip was with a group of girlfriends. Lots of laughs & awesome times, fun fun fun....never had any problems w/ the loud obnoxious groups of younger guys. Met some great friends....couples & singles....... May 27th-June 2nd..... will be my 1st trip to TTR as a couple. So as I am browsing Cancun Care I see many comments about swingers....getting nervous since this will be my husbands 1st trip. Has the resort really changed that much where they cater more to swingers or is it just more of an open topic on here? :biggrinbandit: 26 days until CANCUN baby!
Just go and have a great time. You can find swingers anywhere if you really look for them. The party is always what you make of it.

Shines, We just returned from TTR a little over a week ago. This was our first trip back since 2006. We didn't find the resort to be any more swinger oriented than it was six years ago. If anything it seemed a bit more tame which I would attribute to the changes in the entertainment staff. My guess is that more folks are talking about it now than before so you and hubby should be fine. Tell him to just smile and have another drink and enjoy the scenery.
Some people want to be defined (as you call it) and they will wear some sort of band which identifies the swingers. Not everyone wears them though. Not trying to sound rude.
I wouldn't worry about it. We haven't ever been approached, and have nothing but blast when there. We are already thinking about next year.
I think that the topic is more open on here now than it used to be. We went for the first time in 2003 and we didn't realize we were talking to some people who are swingers until our trip in 2009. I agree with above comments, don't worry about it. If you want it, then you can find it, if you are not interested - then no worries. I have NEVER felt pressured there, except this one time...lol - but that's for a different time. Have fun! :azzangel: ~Jill~
On our second trip we met a large group of people from SC, they ask us to go on a catered boat trip with them, Hugh said sure we will go. Then we found out they where a swingers club, I didnt want to go! I thought rape on the high seas!!!! But it was one of the most fun trips we have taken and there was no pressure to do anything and what a great group of people the where. I laugh now about how frighten I was.
