this forum is dead compared to back in the day at this time, and im bored and just trying to start an interesting topic. I want everyone to post crazy things, or interesting things that you remember from your 1st ever trip to cancun... My 1st time i was 18 and at this point have never been to a club before. So on our 1st night in cancun we decided to do the bar leaping tour. back then in 04 it started back at come n eats at la isla and there would be like 8 buses lined up outside, some were double decker buses as well. I remeber as soon as we stepped on that bus that i knew what cancun was all about, on the way to the old carlos n charlies, everyone was chanting and pounding the roof, and i have never seen anything like this before. everyone had drinks in there hands and everyone was so drunk and chanting cancun. at carlos n charlies we had a crazy time because it was our first time in a club, and we drank way more than we were used to, and ended up puking everywhere underneath this huugeeeee mexican flag across the st. I just remeber falling in love with cancun so much just after a few hrs of being there, now this march i will be goin back for my 7th time n cant wait. thanks for letting me share and gettin mroe pumepd up for 2010!!!
Yes, that was indeed the single greatest moment in Cancun history (that I remember right now) Getting on the bus and "Casey" from the Real Cancun acting like Lil Jon....YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHWHAT!?! Epic, purely epic. That trip as a whole was by far the best moment of my life....from the obscene cat in the airport "LET ME GET A MAGAZINE!!!" and on the plane "I GOT BUDDDDDDD" To Berta, and the perfect asian girl, and everything in between...I'm saying 2010 will top it all...HTC WOOT WOOT
March, 2005!!! First night in Cancun was the Epic, CANCUNCARE PARTY!!! I met many amazing people, and it is a time i'll never, ever forget. I too went to Carlos & Charlies, Chaz!!! Also, I got knocked down the Escalators at The City of this night.. Still have the scars as reminders lol.. Boy it hurt like a Biznitch the next day.... I almost drown my 3rd day, so i'll never forget that either.. LIttle sketchy with water now, and I use not be scared at all of it... Won't go to the lake now lol.
i dont remember much from my first trip there, i was just amazed by the color of the water and the sand... and then when i saw the RIU i was a bit in shock... my first bar was Corona bar and my first club was the city... ooooooh i can remember something funny now... i ended up going to Oasis Playa with a bunch of Scottish guys (they were super cool) and when it was time for me to go to my hotel (Royal Sands) i decided i wanted to walk on the sand, because i hadnt really noticed how far a part they were from each other, so i ended up walking for 4 hours straight, with my mini skirt club outfit, and nothing but 400 pesos in a bag with the pic of my friend and me at The City, my cell phone and my cigarettes... 4 freaking hours!!!!!! from Oasis Playa to the Royal Sands... now i think of it as something quite funny but back then... eeeeeeeew it was all bad!!!!!! hahahaha but seriously, my best memories of cancun are with the cancuncare people, even when i lived there for 10 months hahahahahaha
My first time to cancun spring break was back in 2000 I belive, stayed at the Dos Playas, and Fat Tuesdays was ROCKIN for mtv tapings. Man....... how I miss the days where fat tuesdays ruled in the day!
niceee keep em comin. i love reminiscing. and i always miss fat tuesdays a lot, it was a real good day time spot especially. i also remember thinking how awesome the mexican people were in cancun, and how they made my trip much more fun by just being polite, or acting funny.
My first year I stayed at Temptation’s which was Blue Bay back then! I didn’t meet any of you guys because I didn’t know about the forum as of yet! I remember walking back from the city because I had way to much to drink and Charmaine was stumbling behind me….we jumped on a golf cart this random man was driving and he brought us under a bridge and told us to show him our knockers!!! We jumped off and ran! That I will always remember even though I wasn’t even scared it was just weird
It was an adventure getting there for sure..... but August 13, 2002 I first arrived in Cancun. So what I remember about first getting there.... We drove the HZ coming from the south, like you probably do when you fly in then transport to your hotel. I saw that flag from way across the lagoon. I never saw a flag so big! We cruised up to Centro then back to Playa Delfines, where we slept. On the beach. I woke up briefly to see the sunrise, then slept some more. When I woke up for the day I looked over and saw an iguana coming out of the hillside, like from a little cave or something. I almost started to panic, but immediately realized there was another sunning on a rock nearby. If they would attack it probably already would have happened... :lol:
my 1st time was in 2004, most memorable times were throwing up at the side of the lagoon getting caught by the cops and being searched very roughly .. thankfully they didnt frog march me to the nearest ATM. Another time we were wandering back from the clubs to our hotel, went to get a taxi; see a hot bird sitting in the back, think Game On; then hear a siren behind us and Underlay Underlay (not spelt right i know!) - turned out she was a hooker and they were cruising around for business. ... oh well :lol: oh and how can i forget the girls, Brandi sticks in my mind .. fcuk me she was gorgeous :wink: couple of clubs aren't there anymore that had some great times in
hahaha thats awesome about sleeping on the beach and the iguana. and thats so funny about the hooker haha gotta love the taxis
