What we Look 4ward 2 @ TTR annoys us in the "RealWorld"...

How is it that certain things have a Magical "feel" about them on the Vacay @ TTR, BUT, back here in Kansas(ie; "not" Oz), those same things don't feel so special...
1) Cold Tile Floors - any time of day, bare feet on cool tile floors in Mexico feel Gr8... in a MidWestern Winter, not so much.
2) Sand in your shoe - 'nuff said!
3) Underwear up yer Butt - in Cancun it's a sexy, adventurous, flirtatious & bold expression... Stateside in February, it's just a "space-invader" one tries to dis-lodge by pulling on their waistband simultaneously walking with a Gunsmoke-style limp...

...any others I'm missing?

 

Great question. I'd add

- Current international top 20 type 'thump thump thump' music. TTR wouldn't be the same without it.

- 10am drinking. I honestly haven't tried this at home, but I imagine it wouldn't be so great!

- Rain. Rain in Cancun is a light refreshment from the heat. Here, it can rain for weeks on end.

10am drinking i do that once a year on St Patricks day and its great cant wait to try it at TTR.

 

I drink by 10am every weekend to unwind after coaching youth soccer. I stay in TTR shape. Don't judge me.

Does a shot of Baileys in coffee count as drinking at 6am ?

Then a shot of Vodka in my Orange juice @9 am .?

we definately have oj/vodka or mimosa, or even a bloody mary with breakfast to start the day on vacation...Just remember it's 5:00 somewhere!
