So Aug 14th is my first time on the Boobs Cruise (still crossing fingers we get enough numbers to go) But what to wear ....or not wear? I get that I'll have a bathing suit, sunscreen & sunglasses. But being in the sun all day... .t-shirt or shorts..just in case? Suggestions..

    Thanks Melissa

I've done 3 cruises, and by trial and error I've learned to bring:

    (1) sunblock
    (2) motion sickness medicine
    (3) hat
    (4) t-shirt if you start getting too much sun, or alternatively to wear on shore because your bikini top will be tied to the sail rigging out of reach until the end of the cruise ;)
    (5) shorts or other cover up for your bottom half...the group goes into town on the island
    (6) cash for shopping/drinks on the island, to tip the crew, and $5 to buy a souvenir Cancuncare bandeau top on the boat
    (7) hairbrush (windy on the water)
    (8) ponytail elastic or hair clip (see #8 - to keep hair from blowing in your face all day)
    (9) sunglasses (of course)
    (10) towel from the towel hut at TTR
    (11) alcohol-infused whipped cream
    (12) camera you can afford to lose (not a bad idea to have a disposable one for the cruise)

    Leave at TTR:

    (1) your inhibitions

    Have fun!

Yes, I can see that YOU would not want to forget your hairbrush and ponytail elastic, mroz10! ;)

Do you want me to add that to the list of what to bring, or the list of what to leave at TTR? :icon_confused:

Remember one or two $20s or so for the crew. They work their arse off making the day great.

Melissa, on our April 23rd BC, we were in suits the entire time, but well-slathered with Hawaiian Tropic spray oil, SPF 12. SPF 20 on Stacia's naked tits and face. No sunburn at all the next day (or that night in shower, MOST important). Stacia was wearing the tiniest g-string wicked-weasel bottom, but there too, bikini lines, everything the SPF 12.

Stacia's not got really fair skin, so if you do, you may wish to up your numbers a bit, but if you get a good company's sunscreen (avoid the no-name brands) AND I've determined that the ultra SPF's are just yanking everyone's chain (I've used SPF 50 before and burned through it, but haven't ever gotten a burn using the Hawaiian Trop of any kind of SPF greater than 8) you "should" be OK.

I am sure this is the exception....but if you expect any sort of bad weather, may want to pack a light jacket/windbreaker or a blanket. Folks were freezing their butts off on the June 22nd cruise for the first hour or so when the rain/wind was really bad. Once we got to the island, a bunch of folks went and bought the Mexican blankets

Do you know when it's late and you're tired and your brain doesn't work so well and something just makes you think Huh? I just had one of those moments. When I read 'windbreaker' this is the first thing I thought of:

Won't get one of those on the Boobs Cruise! Time for bed I think for me.
