What to pack. I'm staying in cancun for 4 days what should I pack? planning on being out on the beach all day + pool. and at night going out to the clubs. (what to wear) Staying at krystal cancun all inclusive. Thanks Great forum.
No replies yet, so I'll chip in. Packing should be light it's hot you don't need much and since the clubs don't have any dress restrictions you'll be fine whatever you wear. Something for the beach, something for the clubs and something in between you'll be fine. Have a good trip.
My typical "uniform" is shorts, tee shirt and sandals. Sometimes I dress up and wear a shirt with buttons and a pair of Aisics. Enjoy your trip.
Since you're staying at an all inclusive, you may need to "dress" for dinner. I know most places don't allow women/men in beach attire or shorts at dinner. Some even require long pants for men. We usually wore shorts, sundress or capris to breakfast (no swimsuits allowed), lunch was more informal (shorts over bathing suit at beach restaurant), and at dinner, a skirt, dress or dress slacks (most guests dress nicely for dinner). Just my opinion... At the clubs, pretty much anything goes... Have fun!
I'm assuming you're a woman:huh: First of all, the humidity keeps things damp, so I'd bring 3-4 bathing suits and a big ziploc bag to bring the damp ones home in. Clubs in Cancun are anything goes. Last year at Coco Bongo, there were women in capris, tank tops, and flip flops--and then there were women dressed in things you could wear clubbing in Vegas: think short, tight, with lots of cleavage. (Google images for Studio 54 or Pure nightclub, and you should get the idea.) I usually take a couple pairs of shorts, some tops that can be dressed up at night, and a couple dresses that work as cover ups for day, but then throw on jewelry and heels and work at night. Then, I take at least one dress that would give my mom a heart attack!:azzangel:
Staying four days? Pack two days worth of clothes. Your traveling clothes should last you both ways. You're going to jump out of them at the end of each trip anyway. Just make sure you hang them up when you arrive and wash them back home.
