My wife and I are making our 2nd trip to Cabo, but first to Temptations, Oct 10th-14th. To come straight to the point, what should we really expect from the "wild" standpoint? We've read everything from it's like being in Rome, to it's as tame as an all-day siesta. For the record, we are not necessarily into "the lifestyle", but we do love good tequila, love people-watching, look forward to meeting new folks, and can "flirt" with the best of them. Hookem, Wife and I spent 4 days at TTR Cabo last fall at age 49. We are both in very good shape and just love to meet folks and cut up and share laughs. The secret for you 2 to enjoy this resort is to keep your expectations low as far as wild goes. We chose to dress up nice (linen clothes for me and colorful cocktail dresses for the wife) and make each night a romantic one. This is easy because this resort has an intimate vibe to it because of the landscaping and lighting in the middle. We met EVERYONE at the pool the first day and were glad the topless participation was 99%. We do not care for "spectators". The vibe at the pool was low key adult fun and conversation. The pool volleyball (topless) was more fun than we expected. Now, the "wild": We chose to let the channel 12 porn to run while we got ready each evening which definitely added some heat to the nights. Frankly, I had no choice but to do my wife (sorry to be crude) after I got out of the shower because she had been watching the channel. We had sex 2-3 times per day. I really think the other couples were doing the same, which made the socializing after dinner very sensual... After each dinner we hung out at the outdoor Melange Bar and socialized big time and danced each night. About 11 pm we went to the rooftop hottub which is fairly dark but with white Xmas lights around the bar. Each night there the ladies were topless in that tub and things were pretty frisky..boobs touching, kissing, etc. But that was the crowd when we were there. As for swinging offers, we got them everyday. You can see why when you look at wife's profile pix. We turned them all down, with courtesy and humor of course. Keep your expectations in line! Thanks for the insight. It sounds exactly like what we are looking for. My wife and I are both 42. We have a great marriage, but with 4 kids, "adult" time can be hard to find, as you would imagine. The resort sounds like the perfect place with avenues to "push the envelope", yet within an environment comfortable to us. We welcome any other perspectives/experiences out there.
We have been to Temptation in Cancun 3 times and have our 1st trip booked to Temptation Cabo June 19th. I totally agree with these posts. Hubby and I are not swingers but have no issues with it and that's why we fit in at Temptation perfect. Love the special XXX channels in the room and we to seem to have it on all the time in the background as were getting ready to go out. This place rekindles the fire, the love the joy of a happy relationship. We have met so many great couples, some in the lifestyle, but most not at Temptation. It's funny how once youre all there, none of that seems to matter. We had one and only one very brief encounter with a very drunk girl sticking her toe up our friends shorts while in the hot tub (cancun), she and her husband tried 3 times to get the girl to chill but she was just so darn drunk and it wasn't sinking in. The four of us just got up and moved to a different spot in the pool No harm done. I love this place for it's sexy vide, day and night. It's special for so many reasons, but as with anything else in life... some strange things are going to happen. I think we and my friends we have met there just sort of know when it's time to get "out" of the hottub so to speak and just live and let live. "pushing the envelope", is a great way to look at it. I get to wear all my wild and crazy dresses and we get to pretend were rockstars for a week.
