:lotsofmichaelfs:First of all let me start by saying we are so excited, only 9 more days.. We arrive @ 9:21am so I am guessing the room won't be ready so no worries suits will be in our carry on. I was thinking of just using a backpack or beach bag. My only thing is what to do with the wallets?? I want to be able to have fun and drinks at the sexy pool with out any worries. Thanks!!!
See if maybe the front desk has a safe you can temporarily put your wallets/passports in, until your room is ready? Many hotels do, but can't remember if TTR does or not. Kelly
Take your valuables in a beachbag with you to the pool. They will keep your suitcases sitting outside by the front doors. Not a really good system, really should have a room for your bags.
Thanks guys.. I will just have to watch my consumption untill we can get in our rooms. I know me.hehe.. Can't wait!!!
Charging for luggage I think is the worst thing the airline industry has done in years. On Canadian domestic flights our airlines don't charge but for ones into the US they do now (to be competitive they say). Getting on an American carrier it actually shocks me how much of a hassle is created by trying to cram every piece of luggage into an overhead compartment possible. I actually think if they went back to not charging for a first piece of luggage they would save money by not losing time at the gate trying to pack every travelling sherpa's supplies into the limited available room lol! And they will hold items at the desk for you until you get your room. I once had them hold onto my wallet while I went to the lingere casino night. No room for wallets in boxer shorts lol!
Find a friend on here that will keep your stuff in their room. We have one couple we will be holding their bags if their room is not ready.
They actually do have a locked room that if you request you can put your luggage in, but others who request the use of it will be going in and out too. Chris always just holds onto our passports and money/wallet until we get the room, but the front desk does have safes and I believe they are free of charge
I would trust that it's Mexico. Lose your identity and have to watch for the rest of your life. Just not worth it.
