We are enroute to Temptation. Don’t have any issues right now, but we are now spending a few % of our year there. Had a cpl of ER visits in other vacation destinations in the recent past and had challenges figuring out the best place to go to in those cases. So wondering what’s the best course of action in case of a medical emergency while at TR ? The kind that might prompt one to visit an emergency room back home. Question is not so much about insurance but as to where one would go to get care.
There have been a few threads on hospitals, most around the time of Covid restrictions. I believe @Steve has recommended Galenia in one or two of them. No idea if any of those recommendations have changed recently.
I'd still recommend Galenia, and not recommend Hospiten. You should take out good insurance for either though See previous posts via search for more details.
