Trying to decide what to pack, us and another "newbie" couple are going down to TTR from jan 17-24; are there theme nights, and what is usually worn at the resort clubs (dresses, shorts?) Any information would be very helpful!!:usa1:
For 7 days, you'll prob need 8-9 bikinis, 3 pairs of shorts, 1 pair jeans (we wear these on the plane there and back to avoid bag space) 2-4 dresses, 5 tshirts or wraps (they are required in the restaurants for breakfast and lunch) and lots of lingerie. For the guy, 5-7 swim trunks, 3-4 pairs of shorts 2-3 pairs of slacks, 4-5 shirts of various casualness (1-2 button downs, 1-2 polos and maybe a Hawaiian shirt or something) and 5-6 tshirts. Ladies whatever shoes you want, just think sensible, you are at a beach front resort and you will do a whole lot of walking. Bring more flats and sandals and keep the strappy 10 inch stilettos to a min. For the guys bring a pair of sandals and a pair of casual/dress shoes. Things to leave at home: Panties (you won't need them/he won't want you to wear them!!!!) purses (it's all inclusive and you'll prob buy a beach bag to carry most of the time) Non sensible shoes (they take a lot of space and aren't very practical, Choose 2 versatile pairs if you must bring them) Socks (women won't wear them unless you go on an outing and guys will only wear them for a few hours each night, so recycle and wash them in the sink if needed.) Thinks you absolutely can't live without: lingerie (the sexier and more sheer the better) lingerie (bring lots you'll need it) Swim suits and wraps or cover ups (it's what you'll pretty much live in for the week) Lingerie (go buy some new and surprise him with it) Guys lingerie (IE silk bed pants and a silk robe or something like that for casino night) Oh and lingerie!!!
WOW, That has to be the most accurate answer to a question I have ever scene. Only thing I would add is lots and lots of Sunscreen. Oh, and not to be repetative.... lingerie Paul
Great response SunFun! I'd just like to add a few words. I know a great number of people that have a suitcase full of "Temptations Only" attire... sexier more revealing clothing that they would never wear out in "real life." They energy at the resort is so relaxed - you will see all shapes and sizes flaunting curves and showing skin. I can honestly say that with 10 trips to Temptations under my belt, my wardrobe has definitely "shrunk" in size! Be yourself -or maybe your closet self About the shoes, SunFun hit the nail on the head. Numerous pairs of sexy impractical shoes will just take up space and add weight to your suitcase. Trust me, you will probably be walking barefoot with heels in hand after a night of partying. Hope you have an AWESOME trip!!!!!!! PS: About the theme nights - check on this forum to see what may be happening. Other than lingerie casino, no specified theme nights at the resort.
even though you wont need it much...you should bring a bikini top in case you want to walk down the beach....plus taking it off is sexy btw, how does someone with screen name 'nice rack' not have any pics posted
No visit to Temptation is complete without a 20 Bubba Keg - its an insulated cup to keep your drinks cool. Temptations glasses are small and the air is warm. Bring one of these from home (Canadian Tire or Target) as they are much better (and cheaper) than the ones you will buy at the resort.
Yes, but the ones you can buy at the gift shop say Temptations! It makes me giggle to see it after the trip.:icon_biggrin:
