Been reviewing the resort a lot lately threw various sites and am on the verge of booking our first trip to Temptation resort. One thing that keeps popping up is the high ratio of single males at the resort. Anyone know the best time for the least younger single males as we hear tthey become a distraction. We are also looking at going somewhere between sept 23 and oct 5. any thoughts..
Don't worry about the single guys. Most are there to have fun just like you. We were there in April and had a couple groups of guys from Europe...none were disrespectful. Granted...that was a brief period of time and can't predict al single male behavior. If single guys are a serious concern, go to Desire. If they are a medium concern, escort your lady everywhere...as you would at, say a nightclub in Vegas or any big city. Be prepared to set some folks on the correct path. If they are a passing concern as they should be if the two of you have a strong relationship and know what your boundaries are, enjoy your time at TTR...but be wary of the single guys/single girls/married guys/married girls...get it? Sometimes, the worst offenders are not single guys. Enjoy TTR. Know your boundaries. Have a safe word/signal in any sort of experimental situation whether it is at the pool bar doing body shots or in your room later that night. Our opinion is that it comes down to the two of you...if you have a great relationship and good communication, then the makeup of the rest of the guests shouldn't affect your enjoyment of your vacation. If it does, then maybe you guys aren't ready for TTR yet. Not being mean, just being honest. Hope it works out for you guys.
Excellent Post Snapperheads! (as usual) As a single guy who is respectful and just loves the vibe at TTR, it's great to have people make statements like this. :xyxthumbs:
As a single guy who has been to Temptation Resorts a total of 5x with groups of single guys(3 to 7 of us depending on the trip) i can honestly say we have never had a problem. The main reson we love going is the party vibe. No one gonna give you the evil eye if your drinking and enjoying yourself as long as your respectful of everyone else. Also the fact that there's no kids helps. lol. I wouldnt let that this worry you.
We just got back and there were very few groups of single guys, and the ones we met were lots of fun! Even hung out with a bachelor party group of guys for a while!
The original post sort of relayed the phrase "high ratio of single males" as if there were literally packs of them roaming the resort/hotel like hyenas. That's not the case. The worst I've seen it was the group of asian/islander single guys about 20 strong, along with another group of about 6 20 year olds from the U.K. same weekend (Feb. 2012). They whooped and hollered it up one day at the pool, but when nobody really interacted with them, they took themselves elsewere. It solved itself, is what I'm saying.
