Hi all- Another dumb question from a newbie. Does anyone know when most people start heading down to PatyO for lingerie night? I know it says 9pm, but we didn't know if we'd miss anything super fun if we didn't get there till 10 or so.. We are visiting friends that day in playa and probably wont be back till 10pm.. Just want to make sure that we wont miss all the fun! Also - can I presume it is easy to get a cab/car service back to TTR from Playa and that is safe? Thanks for your help and advice! Look forward to seeing you 3/11-3/14.
You will be just fine by 10pm at PatyO. Party is just getting started and rolls for several hours after that. Remember that whatever outfit you think is showing too much skin will look like a coat compared to what others wear! Have fun
9 or 10 would be perfect since some people have a late dinner reservation. The Party will go to about 2/3 in the morning! You should no problem getting a cab. There is always 1 or 2 sitting at each hotel. Not sure of the price.
People usually start lining up at Nice Shoes around 8:30ish and they will not let you in unless you are wearing lingerie. We have seen people strip right out of their clothes at the door to get in lol After Nice Shoes people head over to PatyOs
lingerie night starts heating up at around 9:45 p.m. or so, typically. Obviously sometimes there's some variation, but as it generally lasts to 3:00 a.m. or so, you'll be fine arriving between 10:00 and 10:30 p.m. Cabs are plentiful in Playa, just head to the "end" of 5th street, where they have the street blocked to vehicle traffic, and the cabs will have a turnaround there where they do the pickup/dropoff thing.
Prior to the Casino games in Nice Shoes, we head to Paty'Os for the Ent Staff lingerie Show where they model lingerie from the RTTR Gift Shop...gonna miss Jules doing her best Kate Upton impersonation on the runway.
Thanks for the responses all. Looks like we will miss a hot lingerie show- but shouldn't miss too much of the party. Maybe I can get Mrs. SandBJ to find some friends to give their own lingerie show for the partygoers later in the evening!
