I've never been to Cancun, but my husband went on Spring Break (15 years ago!). What should I pack for the clubs at night? What should I pack for the resort? Anything I should leave at home?
You can go with pretty much whatever you want. clubwear, bathing suits, the always popular nun outfit. The only thing he's going to want and be sure and take is a pair of pants and close toed shoes or else they won't let him into any of the reservation resturaunts.
That's all really up to your. Just remember that if you get picked at the airport they will check your luggage. It was funny last year, they opened it up, saw goldschlonger on the top, closed it and said have a nice trip. Quickest I've ever gotten through security. I like to take bottle of lime for the beers in the room, but really personally I try to pack as little as possible. I pack 1 luggage piece for a 15 day trip and I still usually pack too much.
I tend to overpack...that's why I'm trying to figure out what NOT to pack, as well. Normally I wouldn't pack a bunch of lingerie for a week in Vegas, but it sounds like I should pack a stash of it for Temptations.
True, this is one of the few places where you'd probably wear it more out of the room than in. You don't need to bring beach towels. They have soap shampoo in the room but it's the small bottles so take it if you like your own stuff. They have a hair dryer, iron and board so your set on that. I've notice alot of people dressing up for Patio's but then around midnight just changing into more comfortable clothes since they'll be drinking all night.
From what I've read in other threads, it sounds like it's going to be a blast...now if I could just get over this fear of no one else finding me or my husband attractive enough to party with...
I've been coming here for a couple of years now, and I've never seen any being judged for anything other than inappropriate picture taking or on the extremely rare occasion being drunk and making inappropriate comments or gestures. You'll have so much fun that you'll be planning your next trip the second day into your first one!
