What resort do you tell friends/family you're going to?

Some of our family members & friends know the resort we are going, but some, well, would judge too much (I'd like to think they're just jealous).

We tell those people we're going to Villa del Palmar (the resort we were supposed to go to last year but went to TTR instead).

So, what resort do you use when you are talking about it?

Well..........................seemingly daughter knows everything..........son knows nothing........one couple in our Sunday School knows everything.....EVERYTHING! Pretty sorta sure no one else knows "everything"...

I usually just tell them where I am going and roll with it. Hell my parents ask questions and want to go. I told them to get their own resort! I've said the Royal which is where we stayed our first time and on our honeymoon. Some on here have said Blue Bay Getaway, which is what it used to be called.

I used to say Blue Bay Getaway. Sometimes I say Golden Parnassus (sp?) or Royal Solaris (b/c we have been there in the past). I never say Temptations. On Facebook, some friends wrote about TTR and another friend from back home who is an investigator messaged me asking if we were swingers going to Temptations....UGH!

They all know I go to Temptations. When my buddies saw a picture of me after losing at one of the games they said they were scarred for life.

I'd warned them that once seen the pictures could never be unseen.

I don't care. I had a great time.

 

We just say "oasis" and leave it at that. This year we're going back to Cancun to meet up with some friends we met last year. It's not exactly a lie.....except so far none of our friends are on the March roll call yet.
