I havent been on a plane in some time, I know they now have all sorts of security mesure like taking off your shoes and what not,...but what are they not allowing anymore? I remember seeing something about liquids? You can't have anything in your bag that contains a liquid?
idk, i remember there being a sign that showed pictures of what not to bring.....i recall seeing a baseball bat and a sword on there lol

Basically for women good tips t rmemeber.. Don't bring nail clippers, tweezers or anythin sharp like that you can only have small like hotel size bottle of liquid in your carry on bag.. So put all your makeup, and boday sprays and perfume especially in your big case... They also won't allow you carry with you water bottles EVEN if they aren't even open...
Dont forget if you're flying from Gatwick, you are still only allowed to take one peice of hand luggage ... i think its 2 from other UK airports! Saw some guy have some expensive aftershave confiscated at security because it contravened the liquids ruling ... needless to say he wasnt too impressed so probably best not to try and take stuff like that on board.
You can buy stuff at the duty free places and take them on the plane because duty free is after a secure checkpoint ... but other than that you cant take any liquid (including deoderant, booze, toothpaste, cologne) over 100ml in your carry on lugguge. Im not 100% sure what the alcohol limit is taking stuff into cancun but i know its 1.14 into the states so maybe around 1 or 2 standard sized bottles into Cancun? Hope that helps a bit .... Tim
