I've read here and there about couples travelling to TTR on a referral. Can anyone fill me in? Are people buying unused time from members? How does this work? Thx
They ( premier member) sponsor you to go at a 25% discount off posted rates,, you get the room cat. you book plus more choice upgraded booze , and menu options, easier a la carte reservations, easier check in . you can sit in VIP pool area . Some contracts will offer you extra stuff, like access to yacht for about 400 @ 4 hour trip for this you promise to attend a 90 ( roughly) minute high pressure presentation .
Ah ok that clears it up. We were there last year at the end of March and unless I'm mistaken the premier designation didn't seem to get you much. That is unless you really like the poolside section. As for the booze, it's all the same to me and we care less and less about the room because we are rarely there. Thx for the info
It's worth what you save for sure. I've been multiple times as a non member and now as a member. The money I save and the perks is worth the 90 minutes of my time.
Price wise it varies when you go , how far in advance you go , and the room category you book. Its always best to shop around, especially if you don't care about the perks .
How does one go about getting a referral. We are not even sure we can get the time to come and if we do it will be June. Having said that I May be able to sit through 90 mins for 25%
