What do you tell your family?

Okay so I know we shouldn't care about what others think, but seriously do everyone of you tell your family where you are going on your trip? Do you tell them a fake resort or do you just tell them the truth and hope they don't judge. Some of ya'll have to filter the pictures that you post of facebook or share with the kids right?? lol

 

Started out being a bit defensive about where I was going. Now good friends and family know exactly where I'm going. And, they know I'm gonna have fun.

 

Tell them you are going to the resort next door.:icon_wink:

 

same for us.. we used to make up resorts..or hope no one asks us where we are going..lol I used to say oh Cancun and i cant remember the name of the resort.. haha.. then some would ask to see pictures.. then we decided to just tell our good friends and older children.. and we have gotten things said like. .. that's a swingers resort.. there are swingers there.. I do not tell the people at my work.. haha..
but what we tell our family and friends is.. its a fun party place that we have a blast at.. and who cares if there are swingers there .. they go everywhere.. lol.. we also sometimes say we don't care because we don't judge other.. that pretty much shuts most people up..

 

I ran into my cousins on Lingerie night my first year there. Fortunatley that was my conservative year. I just tell them not to google me and we should all be fine.

 

Thanks for the input. We are just there to have a good time and make good friends. I know the name "Temptations" can get some people thinking crazy thoughts. I know we are going to make some friends and some great mamories...i mean memories on our trip.

 

We usually tell most people exactly where we're going. For family purposes, just to save the headache, we usually say "Blue Bay something..". It's never been investigated.

Kristin's parents are not too happy that their girl enjoys Temptation, but we must give them the exact name of the hotel because they watch our children while we are gone, so we just deal with the crap they give us for going to an ''orgy'' hotel as they call it. Thats exactly what we say. All our friends know but for family we just say Blu Bay & thats its just an adults only resort. We do always leave them the phone # to in case of an emergency with the kids.
