I can only think of bottled water and things that were forgotten but I'm sure the resort has stuff. Also is it like our Walmart or are there chickens running around? Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk
They will usually put as much water as you want in your mini fridge as you request. Of course, we usually pin our request on a crisp $5 bill every day.
There Walmart is a lot different from our Walmart. If it's raining one day while you're there it's worth going just to check it out. Bus is cheap so you can't go wrong.
Are there chickens running around??? I'm telling your mom you said that, you crazy-ass first generation MEXICAN-American!!!!!
We usually get a couple bottles of booze for the room, a few cans of red bull, gatorade, some salty snack stuff like pistachios and peanuts...and anything else we might have forgotten at home. We're at the resort for 2 weeks so we find the trip absolutely necessary. D
Many people choose to only pack a carry on or forego all the personal care items because of weight - a $3 bottle of Shampoo is like $7 at the Resort, about $6 across the street but about $3 at Wal-Mart or less. Sunscreen Shampoo Conditioner Shaving Cream Lotion hair spray, hair gel, hair mousse body soap Add in a few bottles of liquor and your looking at a savings of close to $100 and weight savings in the luggage which could save you even more. Important for people staying 10+ nights as there luggage is taken up by costumes/theme wear & outfits. Wal-Mart also has a great selection of trinkets & souvenirs - the same crap sold by all the vendors Wal-mart stocks at great prices. WalMart takes credit cards and on our cards we pay no Intl fees and get the spot rate on the day. Dollar to Peso is 13.3 currently so it works out very well. We miss the Cabos location as the Mega (WalMart competitor) was a 5-minute walk from the resort and really enjoyed the shopping experience from checking out the Mexican pastries, produce & meat, to the alcohol & clothing.
My gf doesn't eat pork so we pick up a couple of packs of beef bacon. For about a couple of dollars each morning the people didn't mind frying them on the grill for breakfast.
