What did Tennessee? A single guys minor trip report: April 3-10

First off, I want to thank everyone from here for helping me have an amazing week at Temptations... Most everyone went out of there wake to help me feel welcomed and have a good time.. I would try to thank everyone by name from cancuncare but.. well... after copious amounts of alcohol, my memory does me no justice!

I do feel a need to share a few minor problems I had in hopes that no one else will have to experience them.

While checking in to for my flight at the airport I handed the check-in lady my Passport... She looked at it and then me and told me there might be a problem... She told me that since Arizona had passed law's dealing with illegal Mexican's, that the Mexican authorities have been coming down hard on American's whose passports were not in perfect condition and not letting them into the country... My passport is 6 years old and far from in perfect condition, I thought it was in descent condition.. She grabbed my passport, took it to her supervisor and she made some minor repairs to it with a pair of scissors... I had a layover in Philly and the lady making sure I had a passport pretty much told me the same thing and wished me good luck... I really had no problems getting into Mexico but I'd highly advise anyone with a less then perfect condition to get a new one to avoid any potential problems.

Also, make sure if you plan on using your visa or debit card, get it activated for international use BEFORE your trip! It took a minor act of god to find my banks 1-800 # and dial out to get it activated.

Bring your own sunscreen to avoid paying $20 a bottle at the store in the resort.

Drink LOTS of water!! It's a marathon, not a sprint!! No need wasting a day or two of your precious vacation trying to recover from getting shit faced at the pool!

If possible, try to schedule your trip so that a Boob's cruise is within the first two days... It's a lot of fun plus it let's you interact and get to know all the other cancuncare people..

Speaking of, any of the people who were on the April 4th boob's cruise that want some pictures, let me know.. I prob. have a few of you in them.

 

Oh yea, I'd be remissed if I didn't say thank you greatly to Steve for creating this web community! Without this site I'm positive my wouldn't of had such a great vacation and had the chance to meet the great people i did!!

We agree, that the Boobs Cruise is essential to do inside the first couple of days--to form those bonds with people for the coming week. We also would like to thank Steve for bringing us all together here, to supply the friendships and the wealth of information that help make for a memorable vacation. :aetsch022::flash:I am so glad we chatted on the Boobs Cruise Kary. You are an absolute riot!!!! I wasn't kidding the day in the pool when I said I could listen to you talk for hours. You are a walking book of knowledge, drunk or sober you are a pleasure and I am glad to call you my friend. Hope you have been practicing your french my friend!!!! BTW...has anyone heard from Brandon??????

 

Buddy...it was a blast to hang with u...wish we had more time with u..but I know u had to get back to work..sorry..had to throw that in...I hope u had as good a time as we did bud...
