what days should i schedule outings?

my girlfriend and i will be there from a wednesday to wednesday (july 15th thru 22nd... so really we have thurs, fri, sat, sun, mon and tues to do our excursions... we are interested in 3 of them...

we want to do an outing to chichen itza one day... which will take all day long...

we want to take the ferry over to isla mujeres and just spend the whole day exploring the island on our own and get in some beautiful beach time...

we want to take the atv/snorkeling/cenote excursion which will take just about a full day as well...

however; i dont want to miss the most fun days at the resort! HELP!!!! :?:

also... which night club outing is the best? we'd like to do that at least one night.

is it fairly simple to take the bus into town one random day to do some shopping for souveneirs and such?

thanks in advance for all of your help!

lets see if we can be of any help - im very blunt and honest so hang in there with me....

1st - would defnitely schedule the all day deal on sunday as sunday is typically the worst day at the resort

2nd - not sure if i would want to leave the resort three times

if i was planning on doing that i would just stay at the holdiay inn and do excursions from there - the point of going to Temptation is so you can max your time there - once you get there and hang out i think you will understand what i say when 3 trips may be a wee bit much

    - just my two cents

but if i were staying at the resort and had to have my ass drug away for an excursion  it would certainly not be on thursday friday or saturday.

3rd if you make it to cancun and you fail to go to coco bongo - dont tell anyone  - coco bongo is almost worth the trip to cancun in and of itself - the resort goes there on monday night dont miss it under any circumstance- other good club options are saturday night at the bulldog cafe and sunday night daddy rock

4th very simple very safe and very cheap on the buses

we wish you the very best

    Coco Bongo

Make sure you ask the entertainment staff what night is Coco Bongo night because when we were there the last week of May it was actually only open on weekends and TTR was going on Thursday nights.

I agree, that was an awesome experience. One minute you arrive and the next it's after 2am.

something like that in vegas wou ----------err

they could never have anything that cool in vegas (sunday school city) - too many damn rules there and if they ever decided to become.............customer service oriented in vegas........which they have no clue what that even means.............. they would still charge 2000.00 to walk in the door and then 150.00 per drink, demand you sign a waiver and then - in typical vegas "sytle" --------------treat you like a total p o s the whole time you are there

enjoy coco bongo - its like 50 for all you can drink and the amazing show which words could never describe - not to mention they treat you like kings and queens and actually appreciate you being there and spending your hard earned $50 for the party/show

    great info!

Thanks to the OP and repliers both on this. We'll be at Temptations at around the same time (July 17-28 for us) and this is helpful!
