So I did a quock search but I didnt dive too hard into it. What do you pack when you go to cancun and what are the temps day and night? I know when we went to Aruba it was shorts and a tshirt during the day and it sometimes got a tad breezy at night so I brought a windbreaker. Is there a thread on what girls and guys should park? Any pants, light jackets ect? Jay
Hey Jay. April in Cancun is nice and warm in the daytime, and warm at night as well. I am the kind of person who is always cold, and last April I didn't not need any kind of jacket or sweater at night. I seriously doubt you should need a windbreaker, but they don't take up much space so you could bring it along just in case. Your wife/gf might should pack a light cardigan in case there is a breezy night, or if the air conditioning in the restaurants is cranked up a bit too high. You don't say which resort you are going to, but the speciality restaurants in some resorts require long pants for men and closed shoes, so bring at least 1 pair of pants and a couple of button-up short sleeved shirts or polo shirts (something with a collar). Otherwise it's warm enough for shorts at night. Don't pack a lot of daytime street clothes, as you will spend most of your day in a swimsuit anyway unless you plan to do some touring. Just bring some cover-up clothes to wear to lunch at the resort over your swimsuits.
Saves them the trouble of having to use the body scanner... And me.. For 7 days, I'll be bringing 4-5 bathing suits, 1-2 pairs of jeans, 3-4 nice night shirts, 8-9 tshirts, and all of my "theme night" attire :anon:... And possibly something with long sleeves just in case... but typically if I get cold, i'll just drink more.
