It's easy to find lovely animals to adopt, they are on every corner.

    My feet don't get cold.

I'm getting lots of interesting experiences with the org crime which will provide great fodder for a book.

I now qualify for Political Refugee Status in Canada because of the danger I'm in living here.

Seriously, I'm trying to be positive here...give me some credit.

Don't forget the free all night parties with loud music that your neighbors treat you to on weeknights. :icon_mrgreen:

Oh yes, I get to hear Mariachis on a regular basis, from my own bed, at 2 am, on weeknights. Love that.

beautiful weather (I can sit outside at Starbucks any day it's not raining)
great public transportation ($25 pesos or less will get you anywhere in town)
minimal traffic (horrible drivers, but it's fast to get everywhere so long as it's not flooded)
    cheap bars and nightclubs
    no hills :)
being able to keep my windows open all day and all night
That thing RG said about no cold feet!! So true
there's a store on every corner! run out of milk? just walk a block
    most everyone knows their neighbors
palm trees in my back yard
    awesome fruits at the supermarket
    open-minded, friendly locals
cheap dinner (street stand tacos, anyone?)

    I know it's more than 3, but I don't care.

Thanks for the post, I really needed it! Yesterday I started crying because there was no hot water at my house or my boyfriend's, then I couldn't find shorts in my size at the mall, then my computer fried, then the internet/cable/phone line all went out, then the toilet clogged again. Have to remember why I came here in the first place. :)

I have to agree with Gringation on all the positives she stated. I sooo didn't miss the 70.3 inches (179 cm) of snow that Philly got this past winter.
