My wife Lisa and i have booked a trip to temptations los cabos in january, i am just coming to realize that there are 2 temptations resorts. There seems to be a whole lot more forum activity for cancun than los cabos????? did we make a mistake
Chuck, Whether you made a mistake depends a lot on your relationship with your wife. Since Cabo tends to get less guests you will have more time with your wife. And very little if any waiting for dinners,drinks, etc. This is a plus for us. but we still had a great time with the dozen or so guests that were there (before the lifestyle group arrived). The cabo Temptations is laid out straight, in a rectangle. This tends to funnel the guests toward each in the center of the resort, usually at the Melange Bar at night. this is a good thing. Also, the rooftop hot tub is superb for after dinner or after dancing drinks with new friends. Temp' Cancun simply has no comparable item. We would happy hour at the rooftop tub, get cleaned up, hit Melange Bar for a drink, eat an order-from-the-menu dinner (no waiting), dance at the Melange then go back up to the rooftop tub for midnight drinks. And, quite frankly, some pretty sexy goings on in that tub since most guests were lit up and semi or completely naked. They also provide free drinks at that tub and there are lit firepits up there. It is our new favorite late night place of all the resorts we've stayed at. We liked Temp Cancun, we really loved Temp Cabo. Don't sweat it! Now order the lovely Lisa some hot cocktail dresses for dinner! Of course, I ain't the boss of you.... :roll:
You're welcome. keep in mind you will probably be let down when you enter their lobby (kinda drab) but this will change when you stroll down the stairs into the garden area on your way to the pool for the first time. we really cannot imagine having anything but fun here.
