I hear people stating that they had to pay extra for a lobster or certain alcohol.... WHY? It's ALL INCLUSIVE.....put up the wallets and purses...eveytihng is included :?:
We just returned last Wednesday and we never had to pay extra for certain alcohol. However at the alacarte restraunts, they did have certain wines on the menu that you could order for an upcharge. But if you don't want to pay extra, don't order the fancy wines. Simple enough!
Re: What are the extras we have to pay for at an ALL INCLUSI With the possible exception of Le Blanc (don't quote me on that...), I think you're going to pay extra for lobster, no matter where you go.
Last September at the TexMex restaurant we were offered 2 lobster tails for $20us...I don't know if they were clearing out their freezer or what, but that seemed pretty reasonable.
I might be wrong on this, but I believe that the extra charges are for people who are not premier members. If you are a premier member then you can get a lobster dinner and you also get the better alcohol. They use to have a silver plan that you could upgrade to (for a cost, of course) with the better alcohol (not sure about the lobster dinner or not) but I'm not sure if they still offer that or not. From what everyone that I ever talked to that did it, it wasn't worth the cost. That kindda sounds like what you might have heard about.
