What are the best nonslushy not sweet mixed drinks?

Wondering if anyone could suggest some great mixed drinks? Every year we go I can't handle all those sweet slushy drinks. I don't want to drink beer all day and wine is ok with supper but I wish I could find a nice mixed drink that isn't too sweet? Suggestions?:huh::ernaehrung015::flagcanada:

I am really into the new "cake" vodka by Pearl. It tastes yummy with cranberry and if you want to get trashed quicker, add southern comfort. Now, they will most likely NOT have any flavored vodkas and so I am strongly considering taking my own because I get tired of the same thing after so many days and I also get tired of the slushy (too sweet) drinks. I also really like sprite and cherry vodka or sprite, vodka and grenadine (because they don't have cherry vodka either). :icon_mrgreen:

We love getting the mojitos there but sometimes they are out of the mint leaves. Our new fav drink at home is pinneaple upside down cake...cake vodka,pinneaple juice, & sprite. Whipped cream vodka is also great with sprite. Im not sure if they would sell the flavored vodkas at the Walmart by TTR or at customs (does anyone happen to know if they do?) so we will most likely be bringing several bottles with us. Jess

I know they have orange vodka so maybe cherry vodka too.

 

I like vodka, lime juice and soda water. Not sure if they have soda water...or lime for that matter at the resort though.

 

Unfortunately, no soda water at the resort. Does anyone know if I can buy soda water/seltzer water at Walmart? The resort will use Sprite instead.

The fruit juices (orange/pineapple/cranberry) have way too much natural sugar for me. I can drink one or two with juice, but that is about it.

I do plan on venturing out of Walmart and La Europea (liquor store) hopefully I can find some flavored vodka and soda water!
