2 quick questions: 1: Has anyone been there? Was it good, ok or bad? 2: Which bus goes all the way there? Think I have seen "Wet n wild" on either/both #23 and #16...
It is a blast!!! Great for all ages. Adults are about 250 Pesos all inclusive. I heard that that is the price on the weekends for locals and weekdays are 500 pesos. Not sure if that is true. But it is the R-1 bus and it is only a few of them. It will say Wet and Wild in the window
Tori: Thanks! Had a hunch that you would have an idea, considering your knowledge of the bus-routes Ill keep an eye on the R-1 buses then. I havent been to a water-park in like 10 years, so it should be MAD to "be a kid" again, haha.
Well, I was hardly impressed by the park. 4 rides, a pool with waves(kind of weird when you see the Caribbean some 50 meters behind the pool.. hehe) and low-medium quality food. The visit was free, so thats good. I would have cried if I spent 250 pesos out of my own pocket. Spoke to some of the staff, and the majority of the visitors come for the dolphin-swim, so the park itself isnt the major attraction, obviously. I think a second, up to date and HUGE waterpark would bring the much needed competition and hopefully light a fire under Wet n Wilds´s behind
I agree with Rawkus on a lot of points. At the same time, Jorge and I had a very fun time there! Small, but beautiful, clean and fun. I think it would be a blast with kids, but a group of just adults would be better off elsewhere, I think.
The park itself is limited when it comes to rides, but I really enjoyed being able to walk up to the rides without feeling like herded animals back in the states.
