A tragic accident in a small town. Ammonium Nitrate is a product that we do not handle at our location, and this incident reminds me why we don't. I hope the death toll does not increase, but would not be surprised if it does.
It's tragic the photos look like a war zone! My heart is with the five first responders that are missing 160+ injured, they have not released the # of fatalities yet. This is a great little town that most of us from TX have stopped at while driving down 35!

Another tragedy that is a little too close to home. West, Texas would seem like one of the safest places on earth. I am glad the family is going to be OK. I am sure there are several that are not.
we saw the back windows and wall of our living room shudder 50 miles from the explosion, no noise. we heard the space shuttle blow up a while back so we went outside looking for an airplane or something. did not hear what happened until the next morning
