Hey all, I know i cant be the only one working my butt off too look better this time at TTR. Why don't we all share some stories and tips. I started out at 275 this year in January. Made some minor changes to my diet and started hitting the gym more often. Well 8 weeks later with just a little over a month to go I am officially this morning down to 250 which by the way is the lightest I have been in 5 years. the Majority of this has been in the last 2 weeks (Gained a lot of muscle mass initially). Seems like it suddenly started coming off fast as can be. Main thing i am doing is squats at regular intervals at work and while watching TV along with the gym 2 times a week. Diet ?I have just added 2 cups of veggies to every meal (Hate salads) and they are the first thing I eat. Also added coconut oil to my morning coffee. Jen has been doing T25 and is seeing similar results she looks great Thanks for reading Al.
There is already a thread on this topic that has been going a long time http://www.cancuncare.com/forum/free-all/17975-exercising-together.html
Congratulations you two... It's awesome that you two are doing it together. Just started my journey a few weeks ago... We won't be arriving till August.. Have a blast on your trip.
Rach and I started losing weight in January. She is down 20lbs from training for a half marathon on May 2nd and I am down 25lbs doing insanity and eating pretty much paleo style.
My wife and I will be returning to TTR the 23rd. I just came across this thread and it dawned on me that I should share what I have recently learned as an FYI for those who may be interested. I will try to keep it brief. I have been a chiropractor and certified in nutrition in Wisconsin for 23 years and I have never been able to offer my patients who have weight related issues a highly effective and healthy weight loss program until recently. I applaud those of you who make the time to go to the gym, but many people either do not have the time or choose not to make the time to do so. (Me) Then there are people who go to the gym and don't get the results as quickly as they would like. If you want to burn off fat cells regardless if you work out or not, nutrition is the key. For most, that unhealthy and difficult to get rid of visceral fat, (Belly Fat), is the worst and is what tends to stand out the most. Unfortunately, women struggle more than men especially those who have had children because their bodies are designed to store fat more than men. (Sorry ladies) Regardless, I was introduced to a nutritional weight loss program in September by someone I knew who lost over 50 pounds in six months. Naturally I asked, WTF did you do? She told me that she was on the Isagenix nutritional weight loss program. I had heard of Isagenix but never researched it. After doing so and learning that it is the highest quality program when compared to all the others, my wife and I (We are over 50) did the program ourselves. In short, I went from 180 to 163 in 30 days completely changing the shape of my mid-section and without any exercise. (20 pounds the first 30 days is not uncommon) Obviously exercise is always recommended but I wanted to see how effective the program was without doing so. (Plus living in Wisconsin I still drank my fair share of beer.) My wife got similar results with the most noticeable being the belly fat related to having three children that she just could never get rid of. Needless to say we were amazed. Since then I have had over thirty patients start the program with every one of them reporting significant results including; significant weight loss, increased energy, less stress, better sleep, and just feeling better overall. I don't get enthused too easily but based on the results I experienced and what has been reported to me I make every effort to at least inform people about our experience and how effective this program has been for my patients, friends, and family members. . I do not sell this program so do not think this is some sort of a sales pitch. I could sell it being a health care provider but I choose not to do so because it would increase the cost to my patients. What I do is inform, educate, assist with the initial order, and provide follow-up support. Anyway, if anyone is interested in losing significantly more fat cells on top of what you may already be doing before getting to TTR, I strongly recommend this nutritional program to allow the body function at an optimal level. It is cost-effective, extremely healthy, and will work for you. By the way, if for some weird reason you do not like the program or do not get the results you expected, you will be fully refunded, guaranteed. How cool is that? Anyway, there is so much more detailed nutritional information I could provide regarding this program but I said I would keep it short. (I tried). I thought I would just share it as an FYI. If you have any questions, would like to learn more, or learn how to get started on the program yourself you can either contact me via email at my office drblue@darboyfamilychiroptactic.com or a website I set up for my patients robertblue.isagenix.com (Copy and paste in your browser) I will be happy to assist anyone and even provide pictures of typical 30-day results. Otherwise have a great time on your vacation everybody!!!!!!
Just my opinion but for someone that says your not trying to sell something, sure sounds like your trying to sell. Its been several years since I was involved with Isagenix. From what I remember the person that would set up the ordering of the product got a cut from what was being ordered. Maybe things have changed but Isagenix was one of the toughest diets I ever tried. Yea, I lost weight, but anyone can lose weight from any diet. The trick is keeping it off. I firmly believe losing weight is simple. Burn more calories than you put in. That is achieved by eating right and exercise. Im glad Isagenix worked for you. Not bashing your product, just offering my opinion
