depending on the resort you get married at usually depends on who coordinates the wedding. Unless you are looking for a regular wedding in Mexico than I have no clue. But I know each resort hasd their own coordinator to accomidate the on site weddings. Each resorts website should have all the info.

Temptations has a wedding planner. We were married in Canada, just JP then had another ceremony at Temptations. I found them to be great and would recommend them to everyone. The same weekend we had ours another couple had the full wedding it was, beautiful. Plus you get to pick where... beach, garden, and I think there was another choice.. we had ours on the beach.

I think the Temptation wedding co-ordinator's name is Luz Elena or something like that. Probably best to email the resort direct.

Please also take a look at my page on Cancun Weddings there are some quite strict requirements regarding documents and blood tests.

Our daughter got married in Cancun a couple years ago, legally for Cancun requirements. Colorado didn't recognize it, don't know why. They had to get married again in a Colorado quick civil deal. Not a big issue, but something to maybe be aware of and avoid the issue if possible. Don't know about other states obviously.

I always thought it was a good idea to secretly get married at home, then invite all your friends down south and renew your vows. no body will know the difference and the legal work is a lot easier.

That is a great idea! When having a wedding in another country some times its easier to do the legal part of it in your own country. Less stress!
