Ok folks we are planning a Cancun wedding late next year and wondering if any of you fine people have a family hotel you would recommend for a destination Wedding. Thanks for any help. Samantha and Robin
We stayed at Elderado Maroma in playa del Carmen for our honeymoon. The resort was gorgeous. It's on a private compound with horse back riding on the beach. You can also get a swim up room that has a private patio. Just a thought! So happy for you guys!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - Angela
My sister had a wedding 3 years ago at The Royale Cancun now know as Hyatt Zilara Cancun...Amazing property, all rooms are true Ocean front rooms, some have there own private pool, food was excellent, the wedding was flawless as the resort had a wedding planner on site,etc, the beach is like a postcard..the only negative I had was there was zero nightlife and i'm a late night person so we just went to the bars/clubs often
We were married at the Barcelo properties in Riviera Maya 3 yrs ago July 12th, Jen can tell you all the details when we see you next week. The best part is they have different resorts on the same property (it's huge) that cover all levels of luxury and affordability. And the beer taps face the drinkers so you can pour your own.
For whatever it is worth..... Assuming U guys are bringing a crowd to witness the joyous occasion. Parnassus has the family property and adults-only resort. So family/ friends with kids, can stay at Great Parnassus and you 2 can stay at Golden Parnassus. There is an hourly shuttle to and fro the properties and full priviledges at both. They have a nice beach. We thought Food is pretty good. And the Golden does a nice job with weddings. (We saw a wedding, when we stayed there 8yrs ago) The Golden is more laid back than TTR and lil more upscale or classy, but not too exp3nsive. Congrads on your nuptials. You guys are fabulous and make a gr8 cpl.
Well.....I have been married twice in Mexico. My third will be better yet. If you are 100% on Cancun, I would recommend this great little place called Temptation Resort. If you want to go to Playa Del Carmen, we got married at the Gran Porto Real. Smaller Resort steps away from 5th Ave with Excellent service.........
