You really can't trust any forecast unless you're looking at the tropical stuff coming out of Africa (potential hurricanes)...

When we were there 2 weeks ago it said 80% chance of rain every day. Yes, it will probably rain every day, but only for 30 minutes or so (sometimes at night/early morning). But we had perfect weather almost every day with a forecast like that.

Quack, quack........they'll be plenty of inflatables in the sexy pool to keep you afloat, it's not the weather it's the people who make TTR, enjoy your trip....if it rains, just stay in bed !!!!!!!!

About three years ago, I was there when Cancun had a ferocious storm hit. Lots of wind and rain all day. All the outdoor activities were cancelled. Many of us crammed into Nice Shoes all day. The staff did a great job of keeping us entertained. It ended up being a lot of fun that day, and was maybe one of the more memorable experiences I've had there.

Bottom line: You don't need the sun and sexy pool to meet a lot of good people and have a lot of fun!

It's going to rain in the Cancun area almost everyday. Doesn't mean TTR, and even if it does, unless there's a tropical system, you're only looking at about 30 minutes. In our previous four trips during the first week of October, we've had rain on three days and never more than 30 minutes. Hope I didn't just jinx this trip.
