OK, I know it's a silly question...but I'm wondering what the weather is like down there. We are heading up for the first week of May and it looks like its going to rain the whole time! Just getting worried...

You'd have liked the last couple of days, then. Sunny, and warm to hot, depending on the time of day. Early this AM I went for a run in the hotel zone, followed by breakfast in the open air at a hotel, looking out to sea, pure white sand in the foreground, the Caribbean and Isla Mujeres beyond. Fab!
Today was as V described, but 4 days later. You could call it perfect golf weather. Nice breeze, lots of sun. A beautiful spring day for me, minus the running of my buddy, V. Life is good. Like the weather.
we were there 4/11 till 4/19 had three days of hard rain, no sun, the sports bar got very crowded, but it was still fun, and our room flooded we were on the third floor over looking the sexy pool, the rain came in from under the front door.
