Hi guys, I am arriving end of Feb and am wondering what the weather is like there this time of year? I realize I could google it but I have heard the forecasts aren't always accurate. When I was at Cabo last year this time it got quite chilly at night and if it wasn't for the fire pits I would have been cold. Is it the same in Cancun? God knows I won't be wearing much clothes most nights so it would be good to know if I need to bring a sweater lol 17 days and counting!!
we have been watching the weather for the last 2 months (app on my phone) and the coldest it seams to get is 20C thats about 70F for our american friends (293 Kelvin for any science geeks out their) and it keeps getting warmer + alcohol effect you should be fine Jen & Kevin
We've heard that February can be hit or miss. Good thing you are going toward the end of February, much better shot at high temperatures. We went one time in late January and it was never hot enough one of the 5 days to sit on the beach and soak up the sun. But I'm sure late February is A LOT better than January is.
The end of February and March is the beginning of what I call the " Groundhogs days" movie temperatures in Cancun, Seems like every day the weather is about the same 82 to 84 with a low of 66 to 70 lol.... If you look at forecasts they always say clouds with a chance of Rain, cuz every day there is always a chance for a quick 10 minute shower, I think March and April the weather is fantastic in Cancun... So you should be fine at the end of February beginning of march, with maybe a lil chilly, light jacket at night after being in the sun all day
We were there last year March 2-11 and as Backs said it was really like groundhog day. Every day was really nice (or maybe it was -- everyday was really fun) either way the weather seemed great.
