We just visit TTR on tuesday... we have too much fun just the two of us, even with the rain we have a great time improving and expanding our relationship!! it was that great... with smiling happy people... that we couldn´t resist buying a Premier membership... It was an easy choice... it just seems too much fun... is there a thread of the benefits of being Premier? Have an amazing day everybody.
We have been members for about 5 years. You will see a few threads on here debating the benefits or lack of depending on your point of view. We have used our membership at least 7 nights and as many and 17 every year since we drank the cool aid. So far we are fairly happy with it. If you go back every year I think you will be satisfied, if not you spent a lot of money for nothing.
Congratulations on becoming a member and it's true if you use it you're after year it definitely can be beneficial for you. We're members and we've came they're going on our 18th time and love it but as we have friends that are members and some that are not as long as we all enjoy time together that's the most important thing meeting new friends and reconnecting with are old friends at Temptations. It's one big family no matter if you're a member or not. To me that's a personal choice some of the added luxuries of being a member is access to the rooftop pool and bar premium drinks they were having a members dinner once a week at rooftop not sure if they're doing it every week Premier seating area near the pool. Hope this helps a bit for you
And also for some of the non members that say that they can find better deals online that are cheaper I respect that I did that for a while as well and as I said it's everybody's personal choice and we love the Temptation family we've met some great people over the 10 years we've been coming there
Hmmm... Stacia & I enjoy the perqs of membership at TTR, and at either Desire, when we go back of course … but that's not where we really reap the benefit. That happens through our use of SFX (San Francisco Exchange) where we trade a week of our time at TTR/DRM etc., for a week on Maui, or St. Martin, or Cabo, or Kuai, or France, Italy, Greece, Kyoto, Bangkok... you get the idea. Best actual savings story I've got yet is the one where in successive years I direct-paid for the Sheraton Black Rock on Maui for my daughter, her boyfriend and Stacia & I (two rooms, I'm not stupid). Of course, the total was just south of $1,000/night for two rooms... so that's ~$7K for the week. Ouch. Scroll forward one year, and we got a 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo on the surf shore of Maui (Western Coast) in Kihei for $500 for the WEEK. Bam. $6,500 saved for approximately the same accommodations, with more actual "useable" amenities, in a better (for us, that's personal preference) location.
Thanks for the advice, we will be making shorts visits every two to three months so we don't care if anyone thinks that is a bad or.good.business... I just now... The third night is.free right now, the benefits, the black label... The pool in the sky ... So we are going to enjoy little by little our investment... Hopefully we are going to finish our 175 days in 6 to 7 years
We bought in on our first trip this last October and have already been back 3 times since. We will be making our 4th trip back this year coming up in 2 weeks. We're definitely enjoying our membership and dont regret buying in.
We love it and we use the RCI Exchange program with it even more than we use it at TTR. With the exchange we have been to Hawaii, Las Vegas, the Dominican Republic (twice), Jamaica, even Spain. It is awesome once you learn how to use the RCI site, but it does take some time to master.
Love ours as well. Ignore the negatives. What works for some doesn’t work for everyone. We took 5 trips before it made sense for us. Love the perks and we make it work for us
