Wife and I are looking at getting a group trip together for our return in March 2010, but after reading a number of posts, I think I'm going to take a watch-and-see approach. I'm keeping my eye on the events at our beloved resort here and so far I don't like what I'm seeing. Chinos is back (YAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!), but it looks like a fragile relationship between him and managment (BOOOOOOOOOO!) Ms Temptation contest not accepting walk-on contestants??? What's that all about??!!! Bodyshots ban??? and all the other little annoying things management is trying to change for whatever reason. I'm really hoping this place get's back to normal, 'cause if not we're heading to Hedo with our group and there may be no looking back.
I really think these are a few isolated incidents that unfortunately happened to a few people. I don't see it as the norm. Let's see what the Labor Day group has to say when they get back. They seem like a great group that likes to have fun & I'm sure they will give us an honest assessment in their trip reports when they return. Here's to good times @ TTR :dave: Scott
I sure hope its isolated. Since we missed going this march AND may/jun, we're really looking forward to coming out again. I'm not gonna lie, if I get out there and it's lame, I'mma be pissed to no end and that'll be the last time we ever go there. I've been hyping TTR up to my friends that's coming along and the pics I have pretty much sold the place on everyone. If it sucks, we're heading to Hedo and never looking back.
A couple of weeks ago they were taking walk up contestants for Ms. Temptation and we saw body shots at the pool bar and at Patty o's. Chinos was back and running the activities.
